Topic: An overview of the health effects of fine particulate pollution in the Bay Area and Regulation 6, Rule 3: Wood-burning devices.
Eric Pop has a BS in Biological Sciences and a MS in Ecology. Eric worked on climate change research in the Alaskan interior as well on projects in Malaysia and the Florida Everglades. As a contractor for the US Army, Eric maintained compliance with environmental laws and implemented a land management program.
Currently Eric is an Air Quality Specialist at the Bay Area Air Quality Management District where he has worked for the last two years. In addition to writing Regulation 6, Rule 3: for wood burning devices he has worked to assist industrial compliance within the refinery industry and the printing industry. Eric enjoys time spent with his wife, traveling, and cooking.
